The Bergamot fruit is native from tropical Africa, though its use is traditionally Italian. It is a small citric fruit widely used in fragrances, infusions and food market. In fact, almost every part of the Bergamot fruit is used.
The name comes from “Bergamum,” a town in Lombardy, Italy, where the fruit is widely known in the traditional Italian medicine.
It helps relieving stress and anxiety. It is also very useful against depression. It has a comforting and balancing effect.
